Far from concrete, but media sources on Twitter say it was a few morons in Bosnian end, and Irish responded with jeers in that direction.

That's what it looked like from the pictures. Lot of Irish fans directing their anger at the small end

Yeah, McClean looks like he's out there playing GAA, not soccer.

Was still raging about utterly crazy refereeing decision to not give a second yellow when that went in. Walters is some man. Some man.

Shane Long should have been sent off for that. No need.

We actually beat teams ranked above us now!!!!

    Brilliant.

Well done MO'N. Had a lot of snipers early on but the trust in the group has paid off. Clark, Brady, Coleman, Walters - take a bow. 4 massive performances tonight.

Well that was frustrating all my streams kept freezing all over the place towards them end, maybe they were bosnian streamers who pulled the plugs!!

Anyway good evening 50p on 2-0 at 10-1, also had 50pat 5-1 plus later two cover bets of 30p on 2-1 and 3-1.

    total staked £1.60 returned £6, profit £4.40.

better than a poke in the eye!

Congratulations on qualification. Fully deserved the win tonight, even with the dodgy penalty.

Just do us a favour and go easy on us now in any and all meetings over the next 2 1/2 years.

Yeah funny how the players most ridiculed stepped up the most. I now have no lingering doubts re Randolph, for sake of balance.

That was a McCarthy home win. Wobbly moments but clear cut victory...in the end.

    Never a penalty

Hard to believe we have qualified. All looked lost at various points in the group. Poland at home until late on, after Scotland at home etc. Special thanks to Georgia this evening, their win over Scotland gave us the initiative back in the race for qualification.

Tonight was satisfying, we got at them early, we had nervy moments but we kept them comfortably enough at arms length for most of the evening. They were ridiculously overrated and didn't really have the stomach for it.

Jon Walters up until this campaign had been up and down in an Irish shirt but he's shown his club form in this campaign and has come up with some big moments. Given we campaigned for a 24 team championship it would have been embarrassing to miss out especially with Northern Ireland qualifying. Big night for the game here. Hopefully we can go there and be competitive now.
