You have to ask the question why are they doing this?
May be it has something to do with US/Isreali actions on arabs?
Palestine could have it's own independent state and the Americans could pull out of Afghanistan tomorrow, but that wouldn't stop Al-Qaeda's operations, they'd simply find some other reason to threaten and terrorise innocent people. They are trained terrorists, and are not interested in peace talks or resolutions. Bombing and killing other Muslim countries and citizens as they usually do, has little if anything to do with USA/Israel foreign policy.

There was a bombing in Pakistan today, apparantly to "avenge" the removal of Bin Laden. It's not even remotely comparable.

Theyre a well known Muslim PR Firm. They consider all applications via their website but do charge a registration fee and you must pass a multiple choice exam to join. Once you are accepted you will be invited to an orientaiton week in a secret location - fun! - where the focus will be on team building and role playing exercises.

Al-Qaeda feed off a hatred in many sectors of the Middle East of the US, and the West in general. This wouldn't go away if the US pulled out of Afghanistan, and Palestine became independent, but things like this are a large part of the reason the hatred was there in the first place.

The US, UK, France, Russia etc won't let this spook created thing drop, like MI6 are doing in relation to "republican dissidents", budgets need to be justified and money spent, so they will stay aorud somewhere. What's amazing is that nobody is calling out the Americans on a sustained and serious level (a compliant media doesn't help) of how Bin Laden was living next door to US military trainers for so long - and so many stories being released are being used to sustain a lie as well as whip up a reaction. It's going to get worse for a while yet.

There's been a bit about it, but to be fair, the higher-brow media aren't as likely to throw mud, and the more low-brow sections are firmly in the jingoistic "support our troops or you like boys" category.
