Hopefully, but ill not be holding my breath.
New Committee, financial investment, a return to the Market's Field and eventual world domination
Committee replaced, some money invested by newcomers and club saved to begin slow ascent through league
Committee pull rabbit out of hat and save day, saving club to begin slow ascent through league
Committee and club barely survive, cycle repeats itself
Club go bust only to reform in time for next season to begin perpetuating the cycle yet again
Club go bust, Limerick lose league team for first time since 1937...
Thought I'd throw in a poll to get the general feeling on where Limerick will go from here. Apologies about my non-existant profile here of late. A combination of unemployment, laziness and other stuff that I can't be bothered getting into. Though I'd just like to highlight the Sligo game, bigger home gat and the bus to Bray as some good things that have happened of late and reitterate the need of the fanzine to take a more humorous (not offensive or derogatory but humorous) slant than I think is probably envisaged for it. Anyway, back to my poll...

If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.
Current rumour is that the investors who showed interest have pulled out of negotiations.
Could this be a result of certain people not wanting to step down? Or is it the lack of accounts?
Another rumour heard through the grapevine is about the club finances.
John Purcell stated in the papers that he would have E100,000 in the account before the end of the season. Rumour is they only had E200. (Fact: The supp Club had E250 in their account, due to money that was left over after the flag campaign last year).
The way Limerick F.C. is being run inspires such confidence in me...

Just thought I'd bring this back to the top. It might be worth publishing the results in the next issue of 'Out on a Lim'?

Think this is quite interesting. Looks like most people got it right after all then!!!

but its happening all over again for this year but with no players signed and no manager in place, im getting more and more worried and it could be one of the more severe answers rather then the recycling one. i hope not but hea
I thought we were supposed to be back pre-season training - how can they be training if they've not signed any players?
The players could be training before they sign their contracts. I believe some of our players are in the same position, I'd take it as a positive: i.e. they're not looking at going anywhere else as it stands.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
