    Bainisteoir Hurling

    http://tailteanngames.com/

I only spotted this today, so apologies if it's been discussed before, but has anyone played it? I know the Gaelic football game last year was a disaster, it'd be interesting to know if management works any better.

A mate of mine got it the other day. He's hurling mad and reckons it's pretty good. He picked Wexford, got hammered in his first game by Kilkenny and got sacked by the county board, so sounds accurate enough too.

A buddy got it and seems to be enjoying it but probably for the novelty/humourous factor more than anything.
He said he got a message saying
"Sean og ohAilpin was involved in a car crash last night and will miss the next three weeks training."
    Funny.

There can't really be much variety though seen as there's so few counties and your panel is pretty much decided already.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

    G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

Sorry to be off topic but to mention that gaelic game, fair enough it was pure ****e but a little bit of an overhaul theres is no reason it couldnt be a success. some mates played a game along the same lines a good few years back aussie rules 2003 or 2004. they said it was class. a straight port to gaelic would work fine

I saw that a while back. im not a mad hurling fan or anyhting but i wouldnt mind playing it. i cant say that id ever be bothered enough about it to actually buy the game tho

I notice the testimonials for the game are given by a journo, an ex-manager and a few hurlers. No games magazines i notice... probably a good reason for it.

I see that they finished Croke Park in my absence...
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

How does it work? Is there a transfer market or anything?

No, it would be just like managing a national team on Football Manager I'd imagine.

Do you get reimbursed financially for time spent playing when you should have been working?

Or do you have to wait for Bainisteoir - Kerry Football to come out for that feature.
