    Football Quotes of the past

Does anyone have any football quotes that have stuck with you, despite having heard them many years back. Not the usual commonly known commentator gaffs that are posted on so many websites and books nowdays,
just some of your original memories.

These a just a few that I can recall off the top of my head.

'Horst Rubesh, the man they call the monster' famous Jimmy Magee quote 1984 WC

'Dead-eye Dick Stapleton' Jimmy Magee after Stapo's headed equaliser in a 3:3 draw with Spain many years back

'Betagga, Rossi, Betagga and he makes it in the corner' this is going way back, Italy 1: West Geramany 0 in a WC 78 group match, but I always remember it, even though I was 8

'He's gonna flick one..... he's gonna flick one' English commentator from Holland 2 : England 0 in, i think a Euro Champ qualifier than put England out of qualification, Koeman retaken freekick after he had also scored with the first effort ..... class stuff
