I devastated about the result in Tallaght tonight. I had really hoped to draw an easy opponent in the cup semis.

This game was probably the end of Bradley's ambitious 3 at the back experiment. the entire back 5 are a mess.
cup games really dont attract the crowds anymore it seems.

There are those that believe that John Delaney should be in jail. I'm couldnt possible comment on whether i believe thats true or not
I doubt he will change, maybe against Cork and dundalk but any other team in the league we can make it work.
Having miele and Shaw back from injury would help

considering you struggled past a team from the division below you, I'd say the other teams in the hat are fancying their chances

Maybe other teams will fancy getting Dundalk in the semi's, but my preference would certainly have been to get Rovers. There is always a great satisfaction in beating the Hoops. Roll on Tuesday week for the league match in Oriel

You do realise Dundalk started with 11 changes from the league win over Sligo on Tuesday?

Why was your match played at 4pm today? It wasn't on tv? You got the first part of the scoreline right! sounded a decent effort by Cobh with a 3-2 result for Pats.

Credit to the Rovers fans for the great support they gave their side even when 5-0 down, singing until the final whistle.

Don't know what to think after our game, kamikaze defending for Pat's 3rd and we were looking at a hiding. Proud of the second half effort, would have been some feat to get it back to 3-3. Good luck to Pat's in the semi finals

Ramblers have the ingredients for a serious promotion push next season. Just look at the goal scorers yesterday, 2 smashing players. If you can hold onto Ellis on loan from us next season it would be a huge advantage.

Definitely agree, is there a reason they didn't do it this year, or at least get a play off position?

Probably lack of experience really, bar Kevin Mulcahy and Shane O'Connor the rest are only a year or two out of under 19s plus our record against the teams above us is not good. Another year under their belt will do them the world of good.

I might make Cork favourites. The cup might have slipped down Dundalks list of priorities. Whatever about that, we are rightly 4th in the betting. After a solid enough first half yesterday we almost threw it away. Fair play to Cobh, and to their travelling support who were very vocal.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

I would say the FAI Cup will be Dundalk's 3rd priority. It would be still nice to retain it, but we are in Russia a few days before the final, so even if we get past the semi final, its going to take a huge effort.
