    Neither. They're both ultimately futile!

Though is Bonnie in Canada or Dublin these days?

I know, I'm the worst. I actually didn't think I'd get tickets if I'm honest. I'll just have to make do with Paul's disdain.

Imagine if I'd gotten tickets for the Canada game as well... I'd've missed the All-Ireland Final as well. Doesn't bear thinking about.

I think I'll shutter my account here. I'm clearly not worthy.

I love how tongue-in-cheek Stutts is usually followed be serious Paul.

He's back in Dublin. Back in DIT for his sins.

Oh it worked out. I just had a better offer from the State. Canada is going no where. Just like my employability was there for a while.

Even the real AB couldn't be that pessimistic, hence I thought you were parodying yourself.

Parody was the word I was looking for originally, not pastiche.

What isn't futile anyway? Winning the whole tournament? Gallant losing quarter finalist? What constitutes whatever the opposite of futile is?

A parody of a pastiche? Or something.

We're not going to win either competition as ever, but quite relaxed about that.

If you took note of his posts you could identify his location pretty easily.

The dream of emigration can turn fairly quickly, especially when a homeboy like BS.

Granted there will always be a better offer from home, especially when it doesn't work out ; )

Does anybody know about these restricted view tickets that are now onsale (SFA) for the Lisbon Lions Upper Tier? I remember buying similar for Lansdowne at some stage and I couldn't figure out the restriction they were referring to. Is it just like that or is there a proper obstruction? Thanks.

If its anything like white hart lane restriction, its a serious restriction. Especially given the price I've paid for white hart lane tickets in the past!

Just did a bit of googling and this could be pretty annoying if it's as bad...

Some further research brought me here. They seem to think any restriction should be minimal.

At Lansdowne the view restriction is that the overhang of the roof is effectively in your line of sight. It's not an issue, but they have to say it.

It's even easier if you look over to the keft-hand side under my avatar. But you knew that.

The dream of emigration remains. Consideration of your thoughts though were at the forefront of my decision to go back to DIT. I figured I'd rather disappoint you than keep living the lie that was Canada. I'm sorry Paul. So so sorry.

you cant see the corner flag from some lansdowne seats and you would be better watching at home than from the very front rows of the lower tier. its worse for the rugby from some seats where you cant see much above the crossbar for pens, conversions etc.

i've only been to celtic park once but i have heard that the touchline is hard to see from certain areas.

none compares to some seats in Hampden park where you cannot see one of the goals. i kid you not!

Aren't there pillars holding up the roof in some parts of the upper tier at Celtic, not unlike WHL?

Don't worry about anyone else but yourself BS, or what they think of you. I'm surprised your mother never told you that growing up.

Have the FAI secured more tickets from the SFA? The Irish Mirror seem to be suggesting they have: http://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/socc...-green-4518623

But after the furious backlash, the FAI appealed to their Scottish counterparts to secure extra seats for the showdown at Parkhead.

They will meet today with representatives from the You Boys In Green supporters’ club to discuss how they’ll be allocated.

A source told the Irish Mirror: “Fans were rightfully furious and there was no way these loyal fans were going to be left high and dry.

“We’re talking about genuine, hardcore fans who spend thousands following their country all over the world and yet somehow didn’t manage to get a ticket for Scotland and that’s just wrong.”
