    Happy enough with that.

It will be a tough game and a hell of a battle. Both teams have plenty of good players and will fancy themselves to turn us over. It'll be a long and arduous trip and it'll be hard to get any sort of result.

Likewise Avondale and St.Michaels (2 teams who could well survive in Div 1)

It's been a while since anybody said junior clubs could do well in the league.

Those 2 are exceptions to be fair. I edited my post to say survive but I'll stand by that. Either will give Finn Harps a good game.

Did look like they had a bit of a support from the RTE footage, to be fair. Would be interesting to see how junior clubs would match up if they were on a summer schedule.

Shels protecting themselves for the big one on Friday by turning off the floodlights so tonight's game doesn't happen

With tonight's game called off along with the farce that happened in Dalymount a few weeks back, the league's reputation is taking a hammering. Fair enough these things happen but at a time the clubs need everything to promote themselves it's just not good enough. Time for the FAI to really step in and sort out the domestic game

Happy enough with the draw, but one hell of a trip, either way. These away trips are starting to take their toll. That'll be all three rounds of the cup we've played away ties. Hoping they decide to reverse the fixture, however unlikely.

EDIT: Just realised I've a gig to play on Sunday 14th September..the likely date against the non-league sides. The sheer luck of that draw has made me awfully sad.

Are Shels telling the truth or could there be some decepticon going on here?

Well with the first division being such a poor standard in recent years and large numbers of players making the step up to the first division, and indeed some to the premier, its fair to say a few junior clubs could manage it - a lot of junior clubs are certainly better run and do not have clowns running them
