According to RTE Teletext Cork City U-21's beat Ramblers 8-0 today...
With all the talk centering on the club falling apart, how did the best u-21 team on the entire island get on today?
Going mad I missed it, and will miss the final as well next week....

They sure did
shane long got two, behan got two (a bicycle kick and a beautiful free kick), aidan murray, steve kelly, cant remember the rest....
*edit* ray lally scored from a corner!!!! forgot bout that!
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

Clearly the U21 team are using up all CCFC's goal quota for the season.
Anyone know much about this Shane Long fella?
He came on as a sub pre-season against Kilkenny and looked good.
He was very lively yesterday aswell - but I've not come across him in between.
As for Lopes yesterday, he did nothing that Greg, Hoggie, Colin, Mucka, Sweeny, Gamble, George couldn't do.
did hoggie or SOF play
surely they are ready for first team action..
lordan is starting to look tired
its like a case of deja vu with k.murray last season
shane long is a class act he played for st michaels youths in the tipperary league last year. if he concentrates solely on soccer he will go a long way in the game as he has been on the tipp minor hurling team for past 2 years.
I haven't seen the guy play, so I can't comment on him, but your post seems to be based on a fairly generous assumption, IMO.Originally Posted by balls
