    Irish in Britain this weekend

Robbies lasted 64 minutes today - Things are looking up for him
On a disappointing note, Given, Carr and O Brien have left 4 passed them today. Saying that, O Brien has notched.
O Shea has played 90 minutes and Miller played very well when he came on for the last 15.
Duffer has come on with just over a half hour to go and Delap has run his socks off
Richard Dunne is solid at the back for Man City with Macken welded to the bench.
James O Connor on the bench for WBA
Morrison has come on with 20 minutes to go and Cunningham has put in decent game.
Clean sheet for Graham Stack v Reading. Alan Lee has failed to notch v Stoke. Graham kavangh his had full participation as expected
Andy Reid on teh end of a 4-1 drubbing from Coventry. Graham Barrett has played 82 minutes in this one, Michael Doyle clocking up teh full game.
Gary Doherty is lining out for Norwich and heres hoping he scores 2 in 2 against the Gooners
Mayburys gone 2-0 down to MOtherwell

Duff looked really good when he came on today. Hopefully Mourinho will get a clue and stop playing that waste of space Joe Cole ahead of The Duffer.

Miller not playing today for Manu .. not even in squad ... heard he played well at weekend.

As highly rated as he is .. I seem to remember another Cork 23 year old arriving at Old Trafford like he owned the place .. scoring twice on his debut and twice on his European debut.

Just to let you know, the Irish Times have a table of the Irish abroad in their Sports section every Monday. They also do an Irish team of the week aswell as top 6 assisters, crossers, fouls, shots, etc. Andy Reid is well top of the crossers with 38, he also has 14 shots. Alan Lee has won the most free kicks (16) and gave 13 away.

this is essentially the only way I can think of keeping track of it all in one place.

From the Independent on Sunday at the weekend:

Pedro Mendes, Spurs' Portugal international, was clearly the most inventive of anyone in that area, playing astute passes from the left side and linking promisingly with Robbie Keane, who later developed into the outstanding player of the match.

and then later in the article:

There was an impression that Savage's absence was costing Birmingham the ability to break down attacks in their infancy. So Spurs grew in confidence and gave the indication that they could take a proper hold. Turning that into reality proved difficult but Keane gradually became the dominant force.

that's pretty positive considering he went off after 65 minutes. To be honest after he went it was almost all birmingham - exxcept for some great work by brown
