might be too far outside the box, take her to see the relics of St Valentine in the Camelite Church on Whitefriar St: http://www.carmelites.ie/ireland/Whi.../valentine.htm
Folks,
Just wondering is anyone thinking outside the box in doing something different for their partner on Valentines Day?
A card and chocolates, jewelry, restaurant, weekend away, etc. is all the normal stuff but does anyone have any other ideas?
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

probably!
you didn't say if you're married or not (or about to be), from the link above
The feastday of the saint on February 14 is a very popular one and many couples come to the Eucharistic celebrations that day which also includes a Blessing of Rings for those about to be married.
Keep it simple. Don't set dangerous precendents that you'll regret in future years.
Otherwise you could book a romantic trip for two.
To Poland.
In June.

Being married for the last 15 years, I need to get back in the box...
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.
She'll be lucky if I make her dinner.
I did the St Valentines relics one year and it was lovely. First we went to flower market and bought some flowers, then had a lovely breakfast before going to the relics.2nd nicest Valentines day ever I had.
I thought outside the box last year...
Went to Windsor Park
Cumann Peile Dún Dealgan - Champions 2015 (too many accolades to be typing)
Termonbarry Athletic TID!
despite years of trying ive never gotten enough "brownie points". Still stuck in the box this lad. Good luck all of you in your efforts and let us know how it goes.
Do the regular stuff like a nite away somewhere, meal, flowers etc but make it personal to her. Personally I am not a fan of roses, prefer purple tulips. Best treat I got was taken to a hotel that meant something to me, room decorated with flowers and candles, taken for a beautiful meal in hotel with wine and presents of a bottle of my favourite wine, a book I wanted, some lovely chocolates and the tulips had been delivered to work the day before. Perfection.
did that particular mystery man get brownie points from you Magicme?
This year I had to get in my good things early. So it was a mini-shopping spree in Next (where they have a major sale on) so I could pick up enough to make myself look like a GBF. Then it was a small gift from Lush. A trip to the Museum of Soviet Video Games got some good vibes, and the whole shebang will be rounded off on Tuesday by a nice lunch. I have to as I leave that evening for a 3 day road trip. All in all, I think I'm doing okay. Better than my worst Valentines when I brought an ex to the theatre, followed by dinner and night tour of London. Her skulling herself on a low hanging lintel (make of some type of stone) didn't bode well, nor did the cut on her forehead that couldn't be staunched. 3 hours waiting in hospital, followed by 4 stitches meant that our relationship disappeared. Though I'm pretty sure, all these years later, that she carries a memory of that perfectly planned night. Shame about the execution though!
Ask him coz he lurks on foot!
