Another Ireland clip in the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Think that's 3 out of 3 so far isn't it?
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Yeah, not happy about that. With all the great footage they must have in the RTE archives it's a shame that they dont use it.

I was going to mention that, but I didn't out of fear of being called a grumpy so and so.

We just need Jacqui back on our screens talking about footy - she's got to be the hottest talent in RTE at the moment...

As for Thunder****e I think they need to reinvest in a new speed gun.
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"

Spot on, four Rovers players at the top of the leader board? where is the control experiment?

It has only been on two or three weeks right? There can only be a few teams who have tried it.

I thought it was a good show, but was a bit disappointed to see that the archives footage was not LOI footage.

No way was that second peno for Bray even a free-kick, bad refereeing there. Shane Fitzgearld should really have scored to kill off the game or else pass it to Faherty. Good save by Ryan for the peno. Looked like a fairly entertaining game

Neal Doyle. was very card happy in the first half, there was a couple of 50-50's that he dished out cards for.

Well at least Doolin was gracious and magnanimous in defeat. (not)

I remember ex Finn Harps boss Anthony Gorman in his hay day with Linfield or the Ports (Storming Gorman they used to call him) was clocked by the Gardai as being able to hit the ball 108 mph so that would be around an amazing 174 kph. Dont think they was anybody in Ireland or Britain at the time could match that figure.
It will be interesting to see if anybody will come near that figure. Not likely from what I have seen so far.
Really professional show by RTE so credit were credit is due.

Well at least she was on it this week.
Aidan Power feeling the force of her wrath, thought that bit at the end was funny.

Is it just gonna be a small subset of players to do it each week?

    Fair play MNS

Good show and fair play to MNS for reading the complaint from the Rovers fan (Sligo that is not Shams). Jason Factor did have a bad game but the attention Dave Barry gave it was unnecessary for a young player in such a big game.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!
