4-1, great result lads, I'd loved to have been able to make it down . What size city crowd was there? Was it as clear cut as the result indicates?
BTW Shels and Bohs drawing 1-1 going into injury time, the next few weeks should be interesting
WOW!! 4-1 to the Cork City
What a result. What kind of form are we in at the moment, unreal. Well done lads-fecking sheepshaggers Great to see Reynolds go off-i can picture Eanna's reaction...
when he got send off as he walked down the tunnel he kissed the waterford badge and made err "gestures" at the cork crowd.
we totally destroyed them.
LOL, let him kiss away, he can keep making love to his jersey, i'd rather have the three pointsOriginally Posted by eoinh
Great Performance, great atmosphere, it could have even been more then 4. We hammerred them in the second half. The OG was strange.... you will have to see it on tv. Kearney was brilliant, so was Gamble and Greg did very well!
I thought we were very good tonight. We put them under a lot of pressure and took advantage of our opportunities. Kearney was very good as were Billy Woods and Kevin Doyle.
I think we didn't pass the ball well enough at times and gave the ball away too often. When the ball was being played up to the strickers it was coming back straight away. I'm too harsh.
Did anybody notice how long the grass on the pitch was? Was that a ploy to stop our passing game?
Is Reynolds now out of the Cup Final or what? If we were in England, the gesture he made to City fans at the end would be front page news and he would be fined thousands.
Great crowd down from Cork. I'd say 500 out of 3000 were City fans.
With Bohs only drawing tonight the 2nd place is in our own hands and if we can keep this run going who knows what else might happen??????

Heard a few people mention that actually. Think you might be right.Originally Posted by harry crumb

Incredible....
For the first 20 minutes of the second half, we were Brazil/Real Madrid rolled into one. Superb performance.
Mickey : excellent, not at fault for the goal, but overall, not much to do.
Greg: great game. showed his worth to our club.
Dan: patchy performance. commanding at times, but some very poor attempts at clearances.
Benno: what can you say, this guy is the epitome of all that you want in a player...I want to have his children!
Hoggie: Mr. Dependable...This man must be the first name on the sheet after Benno
Billy: excellent game, he gave the ball away, made sure he won it back and we scored the 3rd from that
Gamble: Slowly but surely he is becoming THE player for City. Not spectacular, but his workrate, vision, and heart makes him our engine.
George: has changed his style of play, I think. He is now prepared to be the workhorse, the artisan of the team. Got a bollicking from Dolan about losing the ball at one stage, and after that chased half the thug team until he got the ball back. Still can't play the simple ball but.....WE LOVE YOU GEORGIE!
Kearney: MOTM and rightly so. A gem, a star, a diamond geezer. Maradonna will henceforth be known as the Argentine Kearney!
Doyler: The BEST signing City have EVER made. Proves it game after game.
O'Fynn: signs again tonight that God is about to return amongst us. Confidence is all he needs.
Behan: given little time, but you feel more and more comfortable that we have him to come on if we need something.
It's only one result, and against a fairly sh*te side too, but it was a very pleasing night. When we play like we did at times tonight, its f*cking breathtaking......
Great night, Dolan was absolutely thrilled....and the f*cking rat b@stard gets himself sent off at 4 - 1 down with a few minutes left.......SWEET!
would u fcuk off, the title is there for usOriginally Posted by harry crumb

ill sum up the game in one go
judas is a ******
he is so fcuking stupid
we disgraced the fcukers and what topped it off was a red card for judas.............that made the night
off of judas............should that mean an extra suspension
Threads merged.....and merged again.
What a result. Kearney is proving to be one of the shrewdest acquisitions City have ever made.
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.
honestly cant sleep im smiling so much
form is temporary but class is permanent
were gonna win the league
from www.aertel.ie
Cork stormed back into the title race
with their fourth win on the spin to
move up to third in the table.
Alan Carey put through his own goal to
gift his former club Cork the lead on
18 minutes.
Willie Bruton levelled for Blues on 43
minutes. But Cork were much the better
side in the second half once Kevin
Doyle restored their lead within four
minutes of the restart.
Goals from Alan Bennett and then John O
Flynn completed the rout. Blues
player/boss Alan Reynolds was sent off
following an off the ball clash with
Denis Behan in the final minute.
Mickey :7/10 did his job
Greg: 8/10 superb.when called upon did us proud
Dan: 7/10 done what was asked of him
Benno: 9/10 legend in the making
Hoggie: 7/10 did his job
Billy: 8/10 gets down the wings still very well for an old man excellent game,
Gamble: 8/10.. making the position his own
George: 8/10 what can u say that hasnt been said before
Kearney: 9/10 2nd best player in the league
Doyler: 9/10 best player in the league..if dolan ever goes i wanna personally thank him for doyler
O'Fynn: 8/10 hes back. 2 in 2
The Corner I think that you will have to came down a small bit with us winning the league.
I think that we will go on a good run but we will have one or to draws.
Shels will have to keep it going but I say they will drop points as we have to play them up in dublin in two weeks time.
That will be the big one and the league will be won that night.???
As for the match Last night it was a good result for us and as for that rat all I can do is hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah thanks be to god he got sent off. hahahahahahahaha wa----. 4-1 too the cork city.
Come on longford for the cup.
