    Eircom League XI

On form this season who would your eL XI be

    I'm going 4-3-3

    GK: Rogers (Drogheda)
    RB: Heary (Shels)
    LB: El Khabir (Pats)
    CB: Hawkins (Bohs)
    CB: Murray (Cork)
    CM: Hunt (Bohs)
    CM: S. Byrne (Shels)
    CM: Reynolds (Rovers)
    F: Bird (Pats)
    F: J. Byrne (Shels)
    F: O'Flynn (Cork)

On the bench I'd have Doherty (Shels), Martyn (Derry), Molloy (Rovers), Kirby (Longford) and O'Connor (Waterford)

As with all these things they are highly subjective and of course I haven't seen most of thes emore than twice but judgung on reports and highlights etc i reckon its not a bad team.

Feel free to post your own...

Can't believe nobody has picked O'Callaghan.
Seen him three times this season, and each time he's outshone O'Flynn.

Is he not consistent, or am I missing something here?

Yeah, George would have to make any eL side for this season.
He is definitely in the top three players in the league at the moment.

Reynolds and Hunt are the best central midfielders in the league imo, regardless about how i feel about him as a person, he deserves his place on the eleven. I still think he was our best performer last season.

by the way, Neil and I picked Ollie too.

you forgot to overreact to that.

    Mr.Scum-lyin-judas-freakofnature-ratnolds is completely different.

Well if its based on form you shouldnt have included o flynn, he is in a real slump at the moment and has been for about a month and a half.

Don't know how you can pick Scully, Colwell & Crowe could be picked on this season form.

Have seen very little Premier teams thais year, Longford and Bohs. Going by TV3 Highlights and live game really. Bohs Heary is better than Scully I suppose, but poor at set plays. Crowe is a good player. Colwell I just like his style of play.

Id say the reason Georgie isnt getting picked by people is that he isnt an out and out striker, he's not a traditional central midfielder either.
    Oh no not them again
