    Where is Salthill's Drum complex

Is this map right in its location of Salthill's ground?

    Thanks for your help.

ya thats the right map schumi. i think the easiest way to go to it would be to head out the road to connemara which is highlighted in green. a few miles out the road you should see a sign in the wall saying oranswell. if ya turn up left here then all you have to do is keep following that road, you go straight through a crossroads and drum is around 100 metres past on the right

The map is accurate as are Ultras directions. Salthill's website seems to be down at the moment.

    This might help too:

Take Clifden road, take 2nd left after Glenlo Abbey Hotel. Continue for a mile. Go straight through crossroads, and club is 200 yards on right

    Safe journey

Is the Clifden Road the green one at the top of the map above?

I see they're kicking-off at 7.00pm. Must have no lights so knew that 7.45pm was too late to kick-off when you don't have floodlights.

id reccomend giving yourself and extra hour to get there...even by that road it is a complicated place to get too as its up the back-roads in the middle of nowhere and they didnt see it neccessary to plant some signs around the place....although maybe they will have at that turn since its a big match attracting a crowd!!
There's the right way, the wrong way.... and the Max Power way!! :-D

I thought the same I must admit!

What's the weather like in Galway? It's been pi$$ing down for two days in Dublin. If it's the same in Galway, is there any chance that the game could be off?

Bit of rain here, but I don't think the match would be in any doubt.

So far not as wet as you seem to be getting it in the East. So unless things get very bad in the next 24 hours I'd say your game will go ahead. Drom is located at the highest part of Galway so drainage should be good

Also, I'm sure the club house will accomodate most of you, if the weather is like it was for your last visit to these parts.

It's OK - they have to have a 5% away section, which will do us.

the drainage in drom was awful bad for awhil but they put brand new drains in the pitch around every 10-15 yards. it helps it to drain off really quick. ya can see in the pitches where they put the drains in, there's dips where the drains are. if it stays like this its gonna be very difficult to play football tonight, drom is the highest spot in galway and there is absolutely no shelter, the wind will be seriously blowing

Weather was fine. No rain, very little wind and I didn't get lost, much. They have a nice set-up there, the pitch was great too.
