What's collins done?

Excuse my ignorance here.
I'm young, foolish and naive.
But what has Eammon Collins done?
Has he managed an eL club himself?
If not, i wouldn't be that worried as i'd say he's well prepared after serving under Dolan.
Educate me.

he's 37 years old and from Inchicore. Played professionally for blackpool at age 14 and played a lot of football in the bottom 2 divisions in England sometimes in the old 2nd division.

Has a UEFA grade A coaching badge (or whatever the top badge you can get is)

Short spell as assistant to Roddy Collins at Bohs and has spent the past 4 seasons as Assistant to Dolan at pats as well as part of the team running our academy

yeah proper experience and/or enthusiasm counts a lot more than those Machaoimh badges.

Yeah but our last 3 managers (Kerr, Dolan and Buckley) started mangement with us and at least one of them has done alright

He played in a professional match... and it was 23 years ago and in blackpool, I bet there were tons of 14 year olds in Mines or something like that...
