Galway United - Connacht Champions 2008
Conor would be a new signing as he was only on loan from Harps.First of many new signings to be announced tomorrow.
do you think mick o donnell will leave or get an offer?

What sort of season do ya'll think Raf had? One of your better players?
Whats that comin' over the hill
It's the Monster,
The Cookie Monster!
certainly awful talented - had a good few tricks up his sleeve tended to play full back much more after he came back from injury and didnt seem as creative or influential as he was before
think he would be better on the wing - providing corsses etc. - good physical sort aswell able to put it about in some of the tighter matches - especially for a smaller fella

Raf had a great year for us. Remember he played under two very different managers in his first season with a club that had a traditional rivalry with his home club. I thought he did great and suffered a bit from being midfield one week and right full the next. I think his motivation dipped a bit towards the end, but I think he's definitely premier standard. His hunger and all action style will always make him a favourite with supporters.
I know your new manager has big plans - but if we lose Raf, I think you'll be getting back a major major player.
Less Whining
Less Moaning
What are YOU doing to make it better?
I hear Barry Ryan is staying at Pat's. Anyone got Marco Rapetti's number?
He had an ok season, took time to settle in, then a new manager took over and he also sustained a bad injury. Would think there is more to come from him if he stays.
raf never settled with galway bcos of all the travelling and from everytime i was talkin to him during the season i got the impression he was bitter bout the situation with the last manager&that he never wanted to leave rovers

Heard that we're signing Steven Pressley on a free from Hearts. Apparently he wants to keep wearing maroon.
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"
elvis is a legend but having one jambo following united is surely enough jc !! there is a small band of jambo supporters now spreading the word of gufc in edinburgh

Good luck to Raf the new house he had just built was what swung it .He will be welcome back in Terryland anytime bar the local derby of course.
John Lester is a definite signing and if Tony gets the best out of him he will be a great signing,Barry Ryan is a no no we couldnt agree terms with him so Pats obviously have a bigger budget than us.
Lester better take it easy so over the xmas and start losing the pounds, although he is an excellent deadball specialist and will score a few goals.
In the Donegal on Sunday paper yesterday, the Harps Secretary confirmed that Harps had turned down an offer for Conor Gethins - looks like he will be staying with Harps unless Galway up their offer.
