He and Irwin would have played together loads of times at Man. United. An overlap of about 6 seasons in their times there.

Maybe he just thinks Zanetti is better.

    EDIT: oops, Robbie, not Roy!!

Not sure what's happened there osarusan but you've had a bit of a mare.

Anyways, Robbie picked this back in Jan 2013, all explained here:

Genuine error. For some reason, thinking of Irwin just made me think of Roy.

highlights of the game here: http://www.lagalaxy.com/video/2014/0...ion-highlights
scored twice, second goal is just before the 8 minute mark
took advantage of a horrific back pass to race clear, round the keeper and score. Looks easy, but it could all have gone Ronny Rosenthal on him!

Another goal for Robbie Keane tonight, in a 2-1 loss to Sporting Kansas City.
Very similar to the goal VS Germany in 2002 in that it's a flick on from his strike partner to Keane to finish
was booked late on too for a elbow to a defender who was standing behind him

also, named in the MLS All Star squad to play Bayern in a few weeks: http://www.lagalaxy.com/news/2014/07...ll-star-roster
Could see him link up with former Spurs team mate Defoe, or Thierry Henry.

What's the story with making the playoffs? They must be there or thereabouts after a poor start.

Nice goal, but that is great spot to have a shot from, the natural curl and dip of the shot makes it very hard
for the keeper to get to it unless he is standing under the far post, in which case the rest of the goal is wide open.
Childs play for a player of Robbies ability especially if the wind is right.

Hammered 7-0 by Utd in pre season tour and Galaxy well into their season.
So wouldnt get carried away with how good Robbie is, he would be still playing in England if he was any good.

yes, 8 international goals in 9 2013 internationals suggest he is useless ok.

nothing to do with resting players ahead of a trip to top of the table Seattle Sounders this weekend, or mass substitutions in the second half, or the replacements coming in from LA Galaxy II (the reserve side).
