Niall Quinn and Kenny were interviewed after playing Shels if that counts?
Does anyone notice that the FAI podcasts are only involving that National Team !?!?
There have been a few already ....
FAI.ie Podcast Archive
Sep 1 2006 - Interview with Robbie Keane
Aug 28 2006 - Germany v Republic of Ireland Preview
Aug 24 2006 - Interview with John O'Shea
Aug 22 2006 - Interview with Alan Kelly
Aug 18 2006 - Interview with Johnny Giles
Aug 15 2006 - Interview with Steven Reid
Aug 8 2006 - Interview with Stephen Staunton
Aug 1 2006 - Interviews with Niall Quinn and Kenny Cunningham
All of them, every single one of them is commenting on the National Team, complete ignoring every other facet of the domestic game entrusted to the FAI. Why is that ??
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

In the words of er.. somebody "do they ****".
It would be very easy for the FAI to have a link on their podcast section to the Shels and Derry (and any other teams who do them) podcasts.
Im sure the webmasters of both sites would give their permission for such a link if they were asked. It says it all when whoever it is in the FAI who is responsible for the content of the site dont even bother their hole doing that !
Have written to them asking if they plan any on the domestic game.

But thats it though ..... schoolboy, youth, junior, intermediate, senior, womens, disability, blind ..... they all put in huge effort aswell and should get some recognition.
Its not even about recognition, its letting us know whats going on in the game. The amount of people who just couldn't give a toss about the national game anymore is unreal, with some not even looking at games anymore, not to mind going, yet they crave info on the game they are interested in.
If they address the balance then its all good in my book.
