DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
So very disappointed to have heard that tonight. One of my favourite actors ever. RIP
Legend! One of the most re-watchable movies I know, Waking Ned, was made so much better with him in it. Great actor.
Davd Kelly was the first "celebrity" that I ever met. I was 9 years old, and I met him at Dublin Airport.
He was in Robin's Nest on ITV at the time, playing a one-armed kitchen hand. All I remember thinking was - there's that bloke off the telly and he's got TWO arms!! I've never trusted anything that I've seen on telly since
RIP

Hal Roach just passed away at 84 years young. Never rated him but I suppose it was humour for a different generation.
In other news, Ian Paisley was released from hospital.
Just announced in the last hour...

Bit too much monkeying around it seems. Won't forget the Monkees show on TV years ago in a hurry.

Seems a bit strange , but I think he was meant to have made some sort of appearance at my local GAA pavillion back in the early '90s. I suppose it might have been true but you wouldn't hear of players doing those kinds of "tours" / appearances too much nowadays.
I walked into jjb in the square last week at lunchtime and Phil Taylor was playing an exhibition match. i'd say a lot of their money is still made that way.
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.
Indeed they all make their money on exhibitions. They make serious money off those trips. Must do one a week across UK and Ireland at least.
