    Opening league fixtures

The league kicks off today with the two favourites for relagation going at it down in Cobh...interesting opening fixture by the league, the loser of this one can say goodbye i feel even though with Cobh at home they might sneak a draw out of it, i'd find it hard to believe anyone will be as poor as them this year though so they need every possible point from their home games.

Ha i love the fact that your writing off cobh wanderers already without even a game played. We'll see sure.

Seniors continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-0 win over Lakewood in the Donie Forde Cup. Comfortable, well in command. Derek O'Donovan scored.
How was Cobh and Castleview yesterday?

Castleview won 2-1. Wanderers are supposed to have been useless.

Mount battered Avondale this morning in the Donie Forde. 2-0 it finished, both sides missed spotters. Gary Leahy with both I think.

Anyone got that intermediate cup draw in full? I'll believe it when I see it. Who we get?

Edit ignore that, just saw Razors thread. Wow, some draw.

The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

Nice to see you can comment on the game when you wern't even down at the game, wanderers controlled the game until castleview were awarded a penalty after about 35 mins, came out after half time and scored within five minutes of the kick off with a very well worked and taken goal, castleview got the winning goal with about ten minutes left on the clock, after which the wanderers could have stolen a point with the last kick of the game only for the cross into the box been directed wide. The wanderers where without two first team players and three new signings and had only two on the bench so were down to the bare bones of the squad.

That's all well in good but don't comment on games unless you have seen them, i wouldn't comment on a ramblers game senior or A-league unless i had seen the game myself and as for listening to other peoples opinions you'll get plenty of these from other posters here that arn't from cobh or associated with cobh wanderers so try to go to a game first and then post a comment

Sounds more like the game i was at. Very good goal by Stanton, brilliant finish tbf, Dunne for Castleview was very dangerous too. Who are ye're new signings wizzz???

Ok i'll re-phrase that.........."beer and the prospect of women"

Anyway........Seniors are away to Everton Sunday and the Juniors are at home to Tramore.
I'd say the Seniors would be happy with a draw and the Juniors will be looking to take all 3.
