From what i read on Twitter the lads at Lims were working on a programme for the play-off BEFORE Friday nights match!!

Sure there wouldn't have been enough time to pull one together otherwise for Monday. Even if you have one ready for Monday morning, it's very short notice for the printers. GUFC programme gets sent off on Monday, for Friday. Or it used to at least.

And, if Harps had been at home tonight we too would have had a full programme for the game. A bit rushed, but everyone who contributes was on standby before Friday's game.

Our Cup game away to Longford was on a Friday night this year with the replay then taking place on a Monday night. We produced a programme for that game (it was actually printed on the Saturday) and was completely up to date with what had happened on the Friday, pics from the game in Longford, Managers views on the Longford game, etc. etc.

It can be done easily with a bit of pre-planning, etc.

had actually forgotten about that! have that program and you are dead right. clubs have no excuses any more!
