    Max about 400 in Stradbrook tonight, around 100 Harps fans dotted around the ground to witness absolute robbery.

    Is there a big Donegalian community in Dublin 4? That's a huge away group.

    A fair bit of that was Dublin based, around 30/40.
    Easier to get people to travel when you're top of the league though.

    I work with two lads from Donegal, they have an interest in Harps, they might go to the odd game when they're playing in Dublin, anyway, they were saying that if Harps were to play in Letterlenny instead of Ballybofey they would get much better crowds.

    What do Harps fans on here think? Do you get many fans travelling from Letterkenny to Ballybofey for games?

    Letterkenny is bigger than Ballybofey Stranolar but it's only 15/20 minutes away. We have a lot of supporters from South Donegal that you'd be moving away from them- we're currently right in the centre of our catchment area. Moving you'd lose a lot of people from the Finn Valley and not necessarily gain many.

    Also, people who think football clubs can just wander about make me deeply suspicious.

    No I don't think he is that far off 400, I'd have said 370 or so.

    What does that stand hold? Anyone i spoke to reckon only about 100 there. It was the worst crowd i have seen at a LOI since the Salthill days. Could not possibly have been 400 there.

    [QUOTE=ATFC-1887;1817099]What does that stand hold?

    Stand holds just shy of a thousand. I was standing to the left of the lower goal (why I didn't go into the stand I'll never know as I got soaked).The section of stand nearest the clubhouse was about 2/3rds full. There were around 50 around the rest of it, Mostly by the clubhouse with some inside. So I'd have said 370 myself. Albeit a lot of kids. The weather kept a lot away but if results stay good expect the figures to rise.

    Speaking to club official after game, said they were worried they might lose up to 1k as it was moved to a Monday afternoon. The average was maintained so they were delighted.

    I actually thought it was higher, the area we were in is usually a good barometer of a high crowd, the area to the right of the stand as the camera faces, it was packed, I think hundreds of kids were not counted, prob would have said over 3,500 but 3,249 was definitely the official attendance. Still very healthy for a Monday afternoon,and it was just great to see so many families there.

    I doubt they counted the kids who were allowed in free for Family Day. Well over 3,500 if they were counted
