    Town Players

I have been supporting DE TOWN since 1995 and well what has happened to the players? They used to be decent lads...now they are jumped up fcukers who think they are the dog's ******! I don't get to many games nowadays with work committments but I was down for Saturday night's game. It was called off and so i went for a few pints. I tried to make conversation with one of the players, who I won't name. He however, seemed 100 miles away and didn't really give a sh*ite. Ok....Fair enough, they are out and probably hate talking about soccer 24/7 but it was common courtesy to try and act interested....or at least say something. All i got was a grunt every now and again. The same player was walking around the pub like he owned it and he seemed to be of the opinion that he was somehow better than the run of the mill folk there......

Has anyone else noticed their ignorance?? I'm sure I'm not alone

That Lavine is a major ****, goin around like he's a superstar. We had the pleasure to see him come out of a pub on Sunday morning, jump in his wacker car and tear off at a hundred miles an hour! Ghoul!

    Name him

Name him Micky - this isn't the official site where anything they don't like is deleted......
Never really had any problems with the players, but there are a few that are just quiet lads.

    Ok.....Here goes....

Fair enough, didn't want to do this but fcuk him, he acted the ******. Alan Reynolds is the player in question, I think he's a jumped up fcuker who has absolutly no idea of what it is to be civil.

Another player in question......(CCFC fans back me up here) wore his CCFC t-shirt in Blazers and proceeded to tell people that he hated the Town and was only with them for money! I mean to say...Do we want this in our team??

I don't care what you say Macy regarding "players being quiet".....By the looks and carry-on of Alan Reynolds that night he is by no means QUIET........

    No need to get nasty.

If the fella doesn't want to talk to ya it's up to him. Players, after all, are only human beings (with the exception of Noel Heartigan).

Wasn't sticking up for anyone Micky - never really talking to Rennie, so don't know what he's like. Wouldn't waste my time talking to that fat, slow waster from Cork anyway.....
I was more thinking of the likes of Eric Smith who is sound, but is very quiet (except in Ra Ra after Cup semi wins!)

Yeh well, Neil, it doesn't look very good if the players don't want to talk to their supporters.....After all he's only in the door, you would think he would make some sort of an effort......
