Still a pretty decent gate. Would really like to see Galway come back up. Great place for an away game and to make a weekend of it.

Great crowd in Galway considering the weather,Id imagine Galway would be capable of averaging 1500ish if they get promoted? Could be the next Sligo Real good crowd in Cork too, was told 6500 by a few regulars.

I think that's roughly where they used to be. They'd be a good addition to the premier.

I'm not sure how there was only 6200 people in Turners Cross last night. Many many were forced to stand out in the rain.

About 2000 in bray. Covered stand holds 1000 and was full with more standing in it plus the other Dundalk fans standing in the rain!

What do you mean by "struggle"?

Struggle to retain the increased attendances, or struggle financially?

Some lads are the right precious princesses altogether, a bit of bad wintry weather and they can't make a game.

643 official attendance in Belfield for UCD v Galway. Mostly away fans, maybe 850 really there?

That should allow Cork to put a budget in place for 2015 that no other club can match.

Possibly, except that we pay serious rent for our stadium and training ground.

Do you think the club will try to reduce these costs by maybe investing in their own training ground?

Everytime we sell a player the funds are ring fenced for this very purpose. We don't yet have a viable site available.

Excellent idea. You need to off load more players for next season then

I know you are joking but I don't think any of our current players are ready for a move. Gearóid Morrissey perhaps but that's unlikely.

We do have a few U19s who may be gone before they break through to the first team though, similar to Alan Browne.

This season's average was higher than when we won the league in 2005.

We'll still be conservative with our playing budget. 2013 was a warning for what can go wrong as our crowds dropped dramatically.

Nigel, I have an xls of ALL of Dundalk's home attendances for every game this season, if you want it for anything, I can PM you.

I know this is just for LOI
