Looking at draw, looks like a Cork--Limerick final which would be a good draw.

Won 4-2. Hanlon, Duggan, Tracy and Gaffney with the goals. Taylor sent off again after an off the ball incident involving Oji was missed by officials. Playing either Glasheen or Rockmount next, don't know if that game has been played.

Thought we were a more coherent unit today than last thursday.
I think Rockmount's game against Avondale was only last weekend, so I don't think a date has been agreed yet for the other quarter final. And with the quarter finals in the other half of the draw taking place on 23 february and 1 march, I'd say the semi finals would be mid-late march.

These sending offs are a bit of a joke at this point. If he doesn't learn, it will keep happening. That must be his 4th or 5th time being sent off?!

Was no need for Taylor to be sent off today it was just the ref looking for a bit of notice.

We looked a lot better today then against Galway actually looked far better then I expected only second game back. Was obviously still some slakness and a few sloppy passes here and there but some lovely passages of play also.

Just a quick run through on the goals:

First: Duggan hit a long range effort that was pushed back out by the keeper Hanlon had a shot from the rebound blocked then second shot lashed it in from close range.

Second: Williams won the ball from their right winger played it to Duggan who played a nice one two with Nzuzi Duggan then took it on a bit before playing another one two with Tracy before hitting a lovely finish into the bottom corner from distance.

Third: Garbhan Coughlan was taken down just inside the box Tracy missed pen tapped in rebound.

Fourth: Tracy with a nice through ball Gaffney rounded the keeper and tapped in.

Team played well as a whole considering it was only second game back poor conditions and a poor pitch. Duggan and Oji look a step above early on Tracy is looking flying fit and Robbie Williams has lost a nice bit of weight.

Just to explain Taylors sending off a bit. What happened was Taylor was told by players that Oji had a knock and to take him off as a precaution this was after we had used 3 subs. Taylor called Oji and told him to come off and Oji started to walk off at this stage the linesman started shouting at him to stop and told Taylor that he wasn't allowed to just take him off he had to wait until play stopped and had to tell the ref. So the ball went out for a Ringmahon throw just outside our box Taylor called the linesman and told him he was coming off the linesman then brought it to the refs attention so Oji started to walk off he had taken about 4 steps when the ref let Ringmahon take the throw which was thrown right behind Oji making him have to turn around and chase after the lad that had gotten the ball.

Taylor started shouting at the ref asking why he had let the throw be taken while Oji was walking off ref came running over telling Taylor that he didn't have to stop play as it wasn't a sub and that Oji had to come off of his own accord Taylor then told the ref that the linesman had told him he had to wait til play was stopped and he was allowed off the ref said that the linesman didn't say that and when Taylor responded saying he had he sent Taylor off. Taylor had had a go at the ref and linesman a few times during the game but never gone over the top tbh and there was no need at all for the ref to send him off. Ref was pretty poor tbh some very heavy challenges allowed to slide for Ringmahon and then some very soft bookings for our lads at one stage too the linesman flagged a Ringmahon player offside and the ref from a position about 20 feet down the pitch over-ruled him. Even a few Ringmahon fans around me were calling the ref a joke for sending Taylor off.

Cork lost to Douglas Hall today in the Semi-Final of this. Any word on when we are supposed to play Rockmount?? I know its only the Munster Senior Cup but surely an opportunity to give the likes of Prince, Ali Abass and a few 19's a run.

We can (legally) play Coughlan too then. Would be nice to get a look at Prince over 90 mins.

Said in the paper this week that game will be played on either April 13 or 27 in Turner's Cross.

Two goals in his first nine minutes for Ross Mann? Can't argue with that.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Delighted to see some of the 19's got a run and the best news there is a full 90 for Mick Leahy.
