I'd imagine if he does sign up it'll be because he wants to move home. It would be a good deal for player and club if it can be pulled off.
Ya Dave has wanted to move home for a while. He is in college in Cork and has to commute until College finishes for the summer. Compensation has always been the main reason he hasn't moved to Cork. I think some kind of a deal is being agreed but no one seems to know the story.

He should never have been allowed to leave Cork. I know the real story behind it and it was not very professional of the then City Manager. Very good and committed player.

Pretty sure cork had three chances to sign O'Leary when he was 17 and younger but refused every time so we then signed him. That was when both teams were in the first division. I presume that is what strike force is referring to.
