Hendrick is a doubt to be back before the end of the season.

The other two have recovery times that could take up to 8 weeks, when the Euros start.

Walters said he could be back in 3 weeks but Walters isn't a doctor the last time I checked.

I suspect they discuss these things with their doctors, physios, medics, etc. I also suggest they know more about their situations than you.

O'Shea rooted to the bench and Sunderland's defense looks the better for it. McGeady lasts about 45 mins a time when he plays for Sheffield Wednesday. The specter of Given looming over Randolph and 3 GK's going to the Euros with little to no first team football....

The man with the moral courage is only a minor doubt this weekend for Stoke though so it's not all doom and gloom.
Good thing MON blooded so many new caps and got all his bases covered in the event that things are as negative as you are portraying them. Which they aren't. It's the usual hyperbole and amateur dramatics.

I said they're racing against the clock. I didn't say they were out or in. How many times have players been ruled out longer than the original estimate? Likewise some come back earlier than prospected. Either way it's not ideal that two players could be out for the rest of the season and the other is at an age and, stage in his career, where it is harder to come back from injuries - such as the one he has.

They're going to be desperate to play even if they aren't 100%. And look how that turned out four years ago.

I think MON will deal with it a lot better than Trap did anyway.

A race against the clock means it's touch or go whether they'll be fit in time. It is expected that all three of these players will be back before the end of the season, which is nearly a full month before the Euros even start. Of course these things can take longer than expected sometimes, they might even get injured again after returning, but with the information we've been given any normal human being would be quite positive about the outlook. Why are you so miserable about everything all of the time? Why are you trying to paint a worst case scenario when at the moment, every important player we have is expected to be fully fit for the Euros? Judge and Elliot's injuries were bummers, but with all due respect to the two of them they weren't likely to be key players for us anyway, if they even played at all. Things could go t!ts up between now and June, but we can't possibly complain about the situation as things stand. Now if Coleman, Long, McCarthy, Hoolahan, Brady or players of that ilk start being ruled out then it's time to start fretting.

Double leg break for Judge, going for surgery tomorrow and will miss the Euros. Gutted for the lad.

Christ. That's terrible. Awful timing. All the best to him.

Anyone with any idea the rough time out for this? I assume it's out of the realms of possibility he'll deemed PL transfer-worthy by the end of the summer..

Up to six months according to this - https://sportmedbc.com/news/broken-t...portmed-soccer
We might see him again after Halloween

Although this answer on quora - https://www.quora.com/How-serious-is...aying-football - puts it closer to nine.

As a comparison, Luke Shaw had a double leg break in September, and returned to training this week, seven months later

My first instinct was that that was a disgraceful tackle but watching it again I think it's just a strong commited tackle and Judge was unlucky
that he didn't see it coming to protect himself. Feel for the lad. Awful timing. Although I don't think O'Neill would have used him in France. Hopefully it doesn't affect the rest of his career as these things can sometimes do

Terrible luck for him, are the Irish unluckier than most with this sort of injury?

Sad. Such a shame Brentford didn't accept a number of offers which came in for him, including one from Wednesday. Could be fighting for a play off position and a chance to play in the Premiership but such are the fates. Hopefully he'll recover soon and continue his great form.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
