I'll be bck tomorrow with Dublin/Leinster.

    Have a go yerselves.

Anglos allowed once their ancestors are from the particular county in question.
EL grounds are like good episodes of The Simpsons, no matter how many times you see them they're still funny

That's mighty gracious of you TT. Thanks a million.

Since you defended Celtic, however, you're off the hook. So for me it's got to be Galway/Connacht. Whatever the feckin' question.

Sorry the post isn't very clear. Pick a county/provincial XI, ie Keane,Miller, Healy etc for Cork.

No-one, pick your own, you can even stick Curtis Fleming in.

    Cork

Is this just footballers or based in England ones...anyway I'm just going to pick the best Cork team that I can think of

    Mick Devine (Cork City)
Neale Horgan (Cork City), Brian Carey(Wigan) Damien Delaney (Hull City), Brian Barry-Murphy (Sheffield Wednesday)
Liam Miller (Celtic), Roy Keane*(Man United), Colin Healy (Sunderland), Liam Kearney (Cork City)
    George O'Callaghan (Cork City)
    John O'Flynn (Cork City)

Neale Feen (Cork City, mother from West Cork) , Dominic Foley (Somewhere in Portugal),Billy Woods (Cork City), Joe Gamble (Margate, on loan from Reading),Derek Coughlan (Cork City)

Not too many Cork players playing outside of Cork! Team is very strong from midfield up, the back line is a bit dodgy though. All have played for Ireland at underage level or in Neale Horgans case university level.

TT isnt Alan Lee from Galway, just went to school in Blackrock College?

*provided he doesnt do a runner.

    Footballers anywhere.

Lee did go to Blackrock College as you say, I was under the impression he was from Foxrock. Maybe his family are from Galway.

Count me in too, PP. Don't want to pretend I'm from Ireland.

    Gerry Peyton

    Steve Finnan
    David O'Leary
    Gary Breen
    Chris Hughton

    Gary Waddock
    Tony Grealish
    Paul McGrath
    Mark Kelly

    Tony Cascarino
    David Connolly

Peyton born in Birmingham but played long enough at Fulham to be picked(otherwise I'll have to look through the reserves, youths, etc. for a keeper) . Finnan born in Limerick but brought up in London.

Maybe someone from Manchester could come up with their Manc - Irish XI.

Born in Galway, moved to Dean's Grange when he was about three. Was the year ahead of me in primary school - by all accounts a DIY expert!
