signed an extension to his contract at Hull City until 2018: http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/a...l-2914900.aspx
Having a very good game against Man U, particularly first half. A bit lucky not to concede a pen for handball and booked for giving away a free on the edge of the box as Hull have started to tire in last 20 mins.
He was excellent. Had a shot to win it in injury time that he just got his foot under, and a minute later they conceded.
Mind you they would have had to prevent Man U scoring, which they didn't but
they have had a pretty solid start to the season, they won't get many tougher opponents.
<MOD EDIT>
Removed betting mention. You've been warned about betting posts before, and I believe post-event betting isn't allowed

De Gea had it well covered but I thought it was a good effort by Meyler and the crowd did shout ooooohhh rather than aahhhh.
He is our premiership highest flyer.
I wonder what is behind Hull's great start to the season. Everything is going against them. They were very unlucky not to get a point against Manchester United.
Earning plaudits for his performances so far this season.

Has done very well to keep his head above water there.
It's not like they only have 13 fit pros at times recently or anything.
Well people have consistently doubted his ability to retain his place going back to a time before they signed Huddlestone and Livermore. Yet apart from brief spells out of the team he always does.
He kept Mason and Henriksen out of the team this weekend too which is a credit to his consistency so far this season.
I found it interesting that the article praises him precisely for what people say someone like Arter would bring to the Irish team.
He's never going to be the most exotic option for some people though is Davie!
Thought he was poor enough against Belarus but I've generally been impressed with him more often than not when I've seen him play club and country.
I'm one of the people who he has proven wrong then.
I still think he'll be the one whose place Mason and/or Henriksen takes, but knowing Meyler he'll be back in the starting lineup again in no time.
Meyler has pulled one back for Hull with a fine finish. Liverpool have since restored their three goal advantage. 4-1 at Anfield.
A quick salute for Meyler who did an excellent job in his defensive role when coming on for Whelan.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
Watched the Everton game in the pub.
It might have been the drink talking but I thought he was harshly taken off shortly after half time.
He was as good if not better than Livermore doing a thankless job IMO; showed good technique at times, shielded the ball well and won a couple of free kicks in dangerous positions - including one right before he was hooked.
Snodgrass is some player.
He played well and I was surprised to see him taken off. Thought it might have been something to do with him not having started a game for two months, but I doubt fitness is ever an issue for him.
A pint says he ends up at Villa before the end of January.
Well, Phelan obviously knows what he is doing.
