The wisdom of Derry having two kits that have a lot white on them, black shorts and white socks was called into question at Oriel Park tonight, as their away was deemed to clash with Dundalk's home, forcing Dundalk to wear their change kit.
When will something be done about this?

To be fair, he's right. The only thing different about Derry's away kit is that the red stripes were replaced with light blue. It's not altogether that different.
They should all be made to go for something mad, like this kit:
LOok until the kit manufacturers in this country start thinking about these things nothing will change. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know this wud happen tonight. Its funny because I was with a club today who thought 2 kits wud do. I threw in a third kit saying it was better to be safe than sorry.they may never wear but as a kit supplier ill sleep easier knowing they have it!
We won. Couldn't care if Dundalk played in purple and green. It's not a big deal.

It really didnt bother me last night, but it was a bit odd watching us play in Black tops, white shorts, + socks.
I do agree that clubs should have a complete opposite colour for their away kits, I think in Derrys case they should follow Sheff Utd's away colour as they have similar home tops, I think they wear yellow.
Anyway its no big deal, there is a lot of more pressing worries for all clubs out there.

Derry announced a month or two back that they had a third strip that was not on general sale but was available to the team. This was a black top, don't know what colour the shorts or socks were. I wonder why this wasn't an option last night?
It wouldnt happen at DDSL u7s.

There's one solution to this if the away team don't have a distinctive enough change kit ... shirts v skins.
I'm almost certain that there's a rule somewhere about the kits having to be completely different. In recent times both Rovers and Bray had green away kits to go with their green and white home kits and I think I remember one of them being told to get a new kit
I realise this post couldn't be vaguer, possibly...
