Hi all.
Bluewater from the btid site has started up a Last Man Standing competition as a fundraiser for the club. It is based on the English Premiership as it is to run into our close season, and will commence on Saturday November 15th. If it works well it is hoped to run one based on the eL next season.

Each person pays €10 at the beginning of the competition, and picks one premier team each week from the fixture list for that weekend. If your team wins, you progress to the next week, if your team loses or draws then that's it, you're out. However, once you pick a team you cannot choose that team again so you can't be picking Man Utd or Chelsea all the time.
The competition ends when there is just the Last Man Standing, though if two or more remain and all are knocked out on the last day the prize will be split.

The entry money from the competition will be split with 50% going to the club and 50% being used as prize money so the more people you get to enter the better. So if we manage to get 200 people signed up that's €1000 for the club and €1000 prize money and so on.

Entry forms are available at http://www.btid.net/lastman08.doc or at the club shop in the cabin behind the main stand at the Shelbourne match.
Returns to be made to the DBSC / IBSC leadership or to lastmanstanding@btid.net, also you can send any queries to that address.
