My tribute song to gluten intolerance

Eating bread in the afternoon with a coeliac up in my bedroom (eating bread!)
I get up to eat some cake
When I come back to bed the coeliacs taken a taste

Oh the coeliac is breaking my heart
    She's shaking my confidence daily
Oh you coeliac I'm down on my knees
I'm begging you please to try some
    Just try some

    Jubilation!
    She eats wheat again
I fall on the floor and I'm laughing

    Jubilation!
    She eats wheat again
I fall on the floor and I'm laughing

A lad I went to school with is on the next episode of First Dates, so I can confirm it is the biggest attention seekers in society who apply to be on that show. He's the kind of guy who would jump off a roof to get attention from people and go to a music festival wearing a mankini.

Anyways, did anyone notice how every lad on the last episode had an Irish accent, and virtually every girl on the show had a full-blown American accent?

I'm not talking about an affectation here. I'm literally talking full on.

The Lithuanian woman was the only female on the show who didn't affect an accent.

I have been all over the world and can confirm Irish people are the only ones who do this.

    It's beyond embarrassing...

Was driving behind a battered 02 van this am with a sticker on the back window. No, not "Baby on Board" ! God, that one irritates me. It's as if we're all driving dangerously and we see this sticker and we all immediately drop our speed by 100 kph and bow to the people in front of us because they have a baby. My Shamrock Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday stickers are probably equally irritating to others. No, this sticker read "I survived the Scrappage Scheme". I thought that was really nice and felt like giving the van a hug. After all, many people do get attached to their automobiles. When my wife sold her first car she ran after it to say goodbye I do occasionally think what ever happened to such and such car I had so hats off to the driver and his van. Alas, he'll struggle soon to find an insurance company which will insure him (p.s. one of his tail lights wasn't working as well).
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

The ones that irritate me most are the 'I'm pro life' ones.

On a road is probably the only place where everyone could agree on pro-life being a good idea.

That's true, I don't think that's the message though on the ones I've seen.

So which one were you, I mean, which one was it? The army dude from Longford or the poor Glencar Waterfall fella?

Wow, just realized this month marks my 10 year anniversary on here. I was nearly released for bad behaviour a few times but hung in there.

I will say this. The British gave us fabulous architecture, particularly in Limerick, which we seem hellbent on destroying for some reason.

I also love the old postboxes.

I passed my 8th anniversary in January. Insane.

I actually can't believe TOWK is here that long.

8 years for me tomorrow. I'm going to celebrate it like a birthday.

Averaged just under 3 posts a day in that time.

Just after my wife had given birth, I asked the doctor, "How soon do you think we'll be able to have sex?"

He winked at me and said, "I'm off duty in 10 minutes - meet me in the car park."

The worst thing about dying at sea or in a tsunami would have to be the salt water. Yuck!
