As far as I know he's back for the Cobh game. The round of qualifiers Benin were playing has finished.

JOHANNESBURG, June 22 (Reuters) - The Ivory Coast and Guinea led a deluge of home goals on Sunday as a marathon month of African World Cup qualifiers drew to a close with home success in all but one of the day's 12 games.

Benin, Egypt and Ghana all won 2-0 to keep them well in contention. New Barcelona signing Seydou Keita scored twice for Mali and Frederic Kanoute claimed the other in a 3-0 home win over Sudan in Bamako.

    Benin 4 3 0 1 8 4 9

    Angola 4 2 1 1 6 4 7

    Uganda 4 2 1 1 5 5 7

    Niger 4 0 0 4 1 7 0

Romuld's and the lads seem to be doing OK. I presume they're just over half way through the campaign. I suppose they go back next year (2009) and finish the group?

ah well atleast we have him back in time for the game against Derry City the folowing week too. Wonder if we can go the rest of the season with Boco and Judge up front. Judge is getting in form again and Boco might have great confidence after all the wins with Benin.

Was looking at the fifa site, the African Qualifiers page. It appears Benin were playing Boco in defense. He hasn't scored anyway.

Dont think it makes sence when money is so tight to sign a guy like Boco who heads off for the most crucial stage of the season & is unavailable. We are paying out much needed funds & no return - the club simply cannot afford that luxury.

He goes for two more games, one in Sept and Oct. It's disappointing but we knew that from the start. Anyway, he should be full of confidence now, I think we'll see him come good in July

Rory, that is at least 5 matches missed & full payment. Can we afford that when we are being forced to let lads go & operate on a very tight squad? Will there be qualifiers next year as well?

I think he's only half way through his qualifying campaign, the countries have only played each other once. I've a feeling the group is completed during our off season.
