Eddie Van Boxtel
I believe the age is incorrect but it is the former eL player & personality. Sad & shocking news.Four in court over €10m drug haul
Thursday, 7 February 2008 22:32
Four men have appeared in Naas court charged in connection with the seizure of more than €10m worth of cannabis in Co Kildare yesterday.
All four are aged between 33 and 45 and were charged with two offences, possession of drugs and possession with intent to supply.
Three of the men made no application for bail and were remanded in custody.
The three men are 25-year-old Fran Delaney from Melrose Park in Kinsealy, 45-year-old Martin O' Connor from North Great Charles Street and 33-year-old Eddie van Boxtel from Sillogue Avenue in Ballymun.
Glad he got caught tho, **** all sad about it
Date of Birth: 14 August 1973 (Age: 34)
..according to playerhistory.com.
But they have been known to have had players' DOBs wrong in the past.
I think it's sad though that a LOI personality has had to turn to that life.
Van boxtel, would he have played with home farm years ago..
Had to turn to that way of life or CHOSE to turn to it?
If YOU are not part of the solution,
YOU ARE part of the problem
Sad, if he's guilty; the last I had heard of him he was a 'community worker' (a euphemism more often used north of the border) in Ballymun. He won a league title with us in 94/95.

Sharks are as tough as those football fans who take their shirts off during games in England in January, only more intelligent.
Did he not get capped at u21 level as well?
'And Crouch must score'
He was part of an all conquering Home Farm Team that went something like 7 years unbeaten at under age Level I think Gary Kelly was also on that team.
We are the Galway Boys Stand up and make some noise"
forget the night against athlone in terryland when eddy jumped over the ball to let athlone equalise and a load of his buddies playin for athlone and in fact had travelled on the train together to galway.
imagine the scandal of travelling with your friends on a train
In fairness, it's not necessarily the same guy. There must be dozens of Eddie Van Boxtels in Ballymun.
