The worst thing about the Celtic Tiger is not the blocks of apartments with no one living in them, as he mentions, but that it produced young men with the attitude of SI. Feels nothing for his country and would rather live in the most vacuous city in the world, LA.
And when he says it's pointless playing for Ireland because we'll never win the world cup. That's hilarious considering he's at a club who haven't won a pot since the 50s!! Oh wait, he gets paid 10s of thousands of pounds for doing so.

I feel sorry for him but that's the way he is so let him at it. I'd advocate deleting this thread though.

The quote about having to go away and play in places like Andorra makes it pretty obvious to me that that rubbish he came out with about his girlfriend having a miscarriage was complete horsesh*t, which again shows the mark of the man. Absolute freak.

What a complete tosser. I've played with guys who spout that line "sure I was the best player at training" and they are generally tossers.

If he dislikes Ireland / Cork so much perhaps a suggestion to the Dept of Foreign Affairs that his passport be removed from him. In any case, I will watch his career slide into mediocrity with interest.
