Such a pity what happened to him with injuries and bad career decisions. I remember a 2001 end of season 442 that named him as 'by far and away the full - back in the league this season'.

Should have gotten out of Spurs that season, Liverpool are Arsenal would have been perfect. Then injuries took hold and he left one sleeping team (spurs) to join a team whos in a f'ing coma.
