Mcgeady in pre-season, Trap doesn't rate the SPL and I cant think of any logical reason why Fahey isn't picked
That would make the squad something like this:
Given
Westwood
O'Shea
Clark
Coleman
Dunne
St Ledger
S Kelly
O'Dea
Wilson
Gibson
Whelan
Green
Lawrence
Treacy
Duff
McCarthy
Keane
Walters
Doyle
Long
Best
Wait until you see the uproar for Stokes/Fahey/McGeady getting dropped, no-one is ever happy despite the fact you can only start 11 players. Get over it lads, you're not the manager so your indignation is wasted.

Fahey has being starting lately for Birmingham and saved our asses against Armenia, so it's an odd choice to exclude him and include the likes of Green who has been poor for Derby of late.
Fahey instead of Green (fckin hell, still?!) and Ward in as a defender and i would be realtively happy with that squad, truth be told. Performance is still everything however.

Where's Foley?
Mentioned somewhere he's injured but he appears to be available for Wolves tonight...

Ou-est le Centre George Pompidou?
Can anyone confirm that the Wales match is viewed as a friendly as opposed to a competative game that would ultimately tie McCarthy to Ireland. Not that I envisage him ever changing sides. Just curious.
Apologies if this is discussed elsewhere already.
As long as Green doesn't play that squad looks fine. Fahey should be ahead of him. Not too bad though.

Now thats a bit better. I take it Fahey and Stokes have been excluded due to playing on Sunday.
Thank you Trap! I thought you would never do it!
Looks like Trap's looking at McCarthy as a wide midfielder rather than central.
Common sense has prevailed.

You'll NEVER beat the Irish.......you'll just draw with us instead!!!
Good to see, futile if he doesn't get game time though.

[QUOTE=Stuttgart88;1447629]I'm not sure a modern pundit would appreciate Roy Keane. Not flash enough.
Like he retired so long ago that its a whole different generation of pundits Stutts.

Just glad he picked Jamie. Let's focus on that bit of good news.
