At least we're intorducing the young fans who started coming to the games at the start of the season what it means to support the biggest soap opera in Ireland

City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

I think we have a few that are well over the top,its the first year of this new set up,some of the negetive people on here should have a look at the Limerick GAA set up where all the fans get behind the team through good times and bad.

Funny that, you'd be hard pushed to find these die hard GAA fans over the last 8/9 years, amazing though the amount of them that have popped up in the last two months.

Ther majority of massive crowds at matches, be it GAA, Rugby, Football, whatever are fair weather anyway. All sports are the same. When successful, they get heavily supported, when not successful, they don't.

As simple as it sounds its true, i'll only speak from rams point of view but that is defintily the way. Successs brings crowds.

I remember posting in another 'He must go' thread, asking what happened aswell before, only to be told 'He's a mercenary' etc etc.
    What did he do?

From what I gather he was rather sarky with a group of fans during and after the Kilkenny game on Saturday night. They were questioning his ability and tactical nous, he got peeved....

Basically he should be above reproach when it comes to criticism. He should be able to take it accordingly when things aren't going well in the same way he laps up praise and exudes arrogance when things are going well.

Life as a football manager really......

I know it's the fans right to have a go at him if they want, but vocally questioning his management straight after a game is a bit much. The "fans" having a go at him are probably best described as "hurlers on the ditch".

but surely, teams in bottomm half of tables do it every week, when rams used never win it happened every ramblers game, part and parcel of the game lads, he should take it.

imagine he was in Alan Curbishley's position.

But in fairness to the "hurlers on the ditch" they are the die hard element of the clubs fan base that follows the side around the country every fortnight, spending good money doing so.

To see an ex Irish International and LOI Legend abuse you and generally act the knob week in week out must be a bit frustrating for them.

Point taken JS but his reaction was probably a build up of frustration due to the shambles taking place off the field. I've heard that cash is so tight that the U-21 side have been asked to drive their own cars to away matches because the club can't afford buses for them. What a joke!!
