Glynn to aid Bray

Bray Wanderers manager Pat Devlin has been handed a boost with the news that local GAA player Nathan Glynn will concentrate on soccer with the Wicklow club for the coming First Division season.

Glynn is more renowned in Wicklow sporting circles as a county hurler, and had been due to take part in the coming weekend’s Kehoe Cup hurling final against London in Arklow.

But he has opted to channel his efforts into soccer with his local eircom League club, and is expected to take part in Bray’s pre-season friendly against Premier Division Shamrock Rovers on Sunday afternoon.

Bray open their First Division programme with a home tie against Monaghan United on the weekend after next.
