Roddy Collins, it just has to be.
I think the IFA should offer it to Stephen Kenny, although I'm pretty sure he wouldn't take it.
Any ideas lads
Personally hope it is Jim Magilton. I think Ian Dowie is anther good choice but cant see him leaving Coventry.

Roddy eh NO.
Big Stan a definite NO.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.
BBC are mentioning Hartlepool boss Danny Wilson....lets hope as Wilson says, it is merely "speculation".
so what about Nigel Worthington? what would the feelings be toward a punt on him, by the Northern lads on here?
you could never question Nigel commitment to NI as a player but I remember him being a bit of an a..hole when it came to releasing his NI players from Norwich and they seemed to pull out of alot of squads. This is hardly the work of someone who cares for their country.
Not sure about him as an international manager, honestly don't think it will be him. Jim Mgilton said he would ove the job but only if he was offered it as a part-time job as he wants to remain at Ipswich, but I doubt whether the IFA will go for that. Also, Sammy McIlroy says he would love to do the job again, I for one hope not.
It's really either Worthington or Dowie IMO. I know most of you want Jim Magilton. If either of those three don't get the job, what would be the feeling about David Jeffrey going for the hotseat? If the IFA had the money, would you take Martin O'Neill as manager? As for Lawrie Sanchez leaving, I thought he was daft to make that move. He was on a good thing with NI and to jack it in for a high risk job at Fulham may be costly to him later.
Never play leapfrog with a unicorn!!
The IFA want a full-time manager. And so do most of the clubs who have potential candidates. They want '' their '' manager full-time too.
Sanchez would have stayed on as a part-timer if Fulham would have allowed him to do so.
I think we should get magilton in for rest of campaign with big Gerry or Brian hamilton in to help him. If it works it works if it doesnt no-one really expects us to qualify anyway.
I really fear the IFA will go down the road it did a few years ago when mcmenamy took over, in trying to go for a biggish name.
Roy Hodgon being a rumour at the minute.lets hope it stays a rumour.
The IFA will go with who ever is cheapest. That's what they did with Sanchez, he was the cheaper option. Thankfully it worked out well.

I think its very important for NI to maintain continuity and momentum , obviously Lawrie instilled great belief and spirit in the team and its up to the new manager to maintain it.
In the Guardian today it says Colin ****3r will be the new North manager aka Neil Warnock.

Magilton has ruled himself out. He just spoke to Sky Sports News saying he rules himself out but would be interested to take the job on in the future.
