do this rounds league cup matches have to have a winner on the night or are there replays for the games that end the 90mins drawn? Just wondering since there seems to be no result coming in yet for Athlone -v- longford ??

LC games have to be decided on the night... remember last year GU went out of penalties?

Comfortable enough for the Saints. Barry Ryan didn't have a save to make all night. As I said on another thread, Cork are average team this season.

Softic easily the worst player in the league, its comical watching the guy

    Pats 1 Cork 0

Decent game Cork started well but once they went behind they reverted to Hoofing it and our back 3 did the same as when away and won every single header.

We had Mulcahy as a wingback not his prefered position but he scared kearney over to the other wing after about 10 minutes. Goal was a scrappy finish from a loose ball at a corner, O Neill and Kirby and Quigely had chances to wrap the game up but all shot directly at Devine, Ndo also had 2 chances to score but was very poor overall.

Mulcahy for man of the match for playing the right side pretty much on his own summing up our small squad that 2 players are out and we play a DMF at WB. Good win for us in the end Cork are easily beaten when forced to hoof it as Behan just isnt very good.

Gamble and Ryan should have been sent off at different times but both only got Yellows when Ryan raised his hand against a cork player who kick him in the head, Gamble lost the ball and lunged at Frost.

Keane and Mc Carthy were at the game both drank in different pubs A number of other Champ managers there if they to see O Donovan they went home wondering if Fahey for sale.
