    Bah, who cares....

    PS Pens over Caps Stuey.

And Barry Mag is not ever going to play for Ireland. Sorry Gassy, saying Ever.

As Tetsujin says, it can't really be anybody else. Although I'm not holding my breath. Going on Trap's insinuations over the past year, I was expecting that Jamie O'Hara and Kyle Naughton would be lining up for us against Armenia at this stage!

Nope. I was supporting Baltimore and San Fran. So far I have a 100% record of tipping the losing team in every play off game. I'm afraid to broadcast who I want to win the Super Bowl.

VVV are after signing two midfielders on loan, one of which (Steven Berghuis) is a current Dutch u21 international.

The other being Danny Holla from Groningen. Holla and Maguire played pretty well together against Feyenoord. VVV won that match. Berghuis is more an attacking midfielder. It does give VVV more options. Hope Maguire can keep his place in the starting 11.

That was a very "matter-of-fact" finish. Dutch assuredness combined with Irish nonchalance.

Two goals in three games now for Maguire, opened the scoring early on for VVV Venlo at the weekend against Utrecht, but went on to lose 4-2 and are now staring at the relegation play offs in Holland

Maguire made his comeback for Venlo last night as a late substitute in a 3-0 loss to Roda JC. Venlo are rock bottom of the Eredivisie with 3 points from 8 games, and a goal difference of -14

So he's good enough to play in the starting 11 of Ireland then

If he's selected in two weeks time I will see him play against Alkmaar. I'll be in amstrerdam but couldn't get tickets for under 70 euro for Ajax but Alkmaar is only half an hour away so it will have to do.
