Good to hear that work can crack on now.
I like the vagueness of the last line, in later years... might be a while then. The Tallaght template is popular here.

Far too long. Just delighted to see some sort of movement.

Looking at 2015 being in the new stadium.

Essentially, what's looking like happening is, playing one season with one stand, while work progresses on the second stand. Then the two ends will be done in time after that.
    Or something to that effect.

The main delay with the build since last AGM was due to the fact the club had submitted an invoice so that the next money could be released. This was submitted last February but only approved in September.

Several club members had a meeting with reps form the FAI & Ministry of sport (2 weeks ago) in which they queried the delay. The sports ministry apologised for the delay and said the money would now be available.

There is now significant funds available for the build.

Phase 1: of the build due to start shortly and expected to be completed by the end of the year. This phase will be building of main block which will include a 2000 seat stand & admin building(Offices, shops and changing rooms etc)

Phase 2: will hopefully start next year which will most likely be laying of pitch, installing of lights etc, parking & entrance to stadium.

Phase 3: will be building of 2nd stand but no date for this yet, untill phase 2 starts.

They said they may move once phase 2 is completed and pitch is playable, operating from the new venue with just the 2000 seat stand and admin building. Then continue with build of 2nd stand.

Then the rest of the build (2 end stands) to continue in phases in later years.
Note even a credit you will be hearing from my lawyers

There is nothing good about a burger at €6.

Will away fans be allowed over, or will we have to order off the stewards like last season (which was kind of cool, if I'm honest)?
Have you ever won the treble?

Are away fans allowed into the Jodi? I hate the Des Kelly stand, my best memories in Dalymount are of being in the Jodi, and the view is much better there too.

Those prices are horrible to be fair. Although, Eddie Rockets have never exactly been known for their cheap food. Got a curry chip and a burger in Finn Park for a fiver last season.

Think it depends on the club. Bray fans have always been in the Jodi, but that could just be because there are always few enough of us to fit neatly into the corner!

Only been to the Des Kelly Stand once, (FAI cup semi final) the terrace was still open at the back, we had about 400 there and had a fantastic atmosphere. I was only in the Connacht Stand the other times. But Im sure the Jodi has the best view without being in it.

You used to be able to get a burger and chips for a fiver in Flancare, or a curry chips was €3. You can't **** with that!
