    Wexford (H)

A first senior goal for Sean O'Connell who picked up the loose ball and slotted it into the bottom right hand corner

    Good start for Kerry!

The points are shared in Mounthawk Park as we make it 4 draws in a row in the league!

An improvement on last season anyway. Getting in the habit of picking up points. Hopefully the green shoots of wins around a corner soon.

Dominated the first half. Second half was a bit more 50 50 but Kerry had chances/half chances. Bar the goal Wexford didn't create much. 2 points dropped.

A point was probably a fair result in the end. Wexford are one of the better teams in the division so all things considered not a bad result, although the frustration of drawing from winning positions continues.

Good crowd of 760, just shows when a string of results come together that crowds will come. This team has only won once in 45 games and never in 22 home league games. How many other clubs would attract that crowd with form like that - just look how poor Bray and Longfords attendances were last night after relatively poor starts to the season ( both attracted less than 400!!!).

I was saying it before. Once Kerry start stringing a few wins together people will be out in their droves.

Kerry are missing that key ingredient of wins. A late winner last night would have raised the roof off the Main Stand! The status of the club will obviously improve with better results.
