Four minutes of nothing from Canham this afternoon replying to pre-agreed questions with rehearsed answers. Kilbane had this guy down to a tee - fake it until you make it. You can't believe a word he says, even when he's basically saying nothing. He's completely discredited now.

At this point they might aswell just give the job to John and accept they made a balls of the whole process. At least with John there's a chance we go into the NL with some preparation with him having 4 friendlies to prepare the side, we arent going to get a good option at this point. Just go with John, get rid of Canham and hopefully if we find ourselves in this position again we dont make the same mistakes.

I can't believe he went public with that statement/interview/whatever it was without even having O'Shea confirmed for June. No reference to his blatant lie about contractual obligations last month, nothing but fluff. Absolutely nothing. He has to go surely?!

Well scripted it was.
I enjoy how he bandies out three reasons why we can't secure a manager. None of them to do with his ineptitude, all the while other nations are well able to get someone in place.
On top of that, there was suspicion from the outside (fans) that we were desperate and a shambles - and prospective managers may have had the same and probably had it confirmed during their engagements (probably Carsley...). He has now basically admitted all of this.
So, he has to go. He can't possibly survive this.
