A dispute over the name of a football ground is not football related and is politics? If you actually think I've breached the rules then take it up with Adam/Ken Shabby. If not then don't try to cause an argument for argument's sake.

Hibs at full strength for the game tomorrow so hopefully all 3 points going back to Easter Road.

Hope you were watching today, H4E. Your boys are in for the same treatment next weekend.

And they were lucky to do that. Good call.

That said from an Aberdeen perspective the capitulation so short after going ahead was pathetic. McGeady I thought put in a very good performance today. Held the ball well, rarely gave it away cheaply and reacted well to put in a quality finish for his goal. Celtic are looking sharp again with Nakamura and Maloney back. The experiment of Wallace at left back doesn't look like it will work though.

It will be interesting to see how Hearts will go in January. Rumours are that Romanov will splash serious cash now he controls the club practically fully. Other perspectives see Skacel going to Werder Bremen and not much changing and a slide downhill. Sadly Hibs just cannot achieve consistency to put in a title bid but they are certainly among on of the best non-Old Firm sides of the last couple of decades.

Rangers, well what can you say? Longest winless streak in their long history. Languishing in fifth and away to Kilmarnock next week who could open the gap to 5 points as several teams close in behind Rangers. It seems 99% certain that Inter Milan is McLeish's last game.

Saturday was typical of Hibs season. Just can't beat the lower teams.

Looking forward to Saturday though, after we lost to Inverness we beat Hearts, after we lost to Falkirk we beat Rangers, so know after losing to Dundee Utd we'll beat Celtic

Wonder what odds can be got on Rangers finishing bottom six for the split? Hopefully they'll KEEP eck in charge

Rumours abound of meetings between Levein and Ian Murray, with Big Eck moving to a coaching/scouting/Director of Football type position - mainly so Rangers don't have to pay him compensation for getting sacked

How any chairman could appoint him as a manager is beyond me. Track record is appalling.

Having said that, he'd probably do well if he went back to rangers, its in his blood......

And what exactly had Gordon Strachan won when Celtic appointed him ?

Some chairmen who know little about football love to appoint names.

Thankfully for the SPL Hearts are having a great season. Otherwise, with Celtic 17 points ahead of Rangers, the thing would be a farce. However, I expect them to eventually go on a 12 match winning run and claw the deficit back to 6 and then the Celtic wobbles will begin again.

Agreed - Can't say I was overjoyed at his appointment. But after a catastophic start, he has done quite well and the football has been decent to watch as well.

As are Hibs, and its great to see a number of sides taking points of each other. However, it wouldn't be the first season the SPL (nor indeed the EPL) was over by Christmas if they weren't!!

In your dreams pal!!!!!!! Besides if they clawed it back to 6 points, what then of Hearts and Hibs - presumably they would have lost all their matches like Celtic???? You obviously haven't seen the mighty Gers play of late.

Great game to watch at Celtic Park yesterday. The 85% 'full' allocation of Hibees made plenty of noise adding to the occasion, nothing too original though - just a few ditties that have been heard a hundred times before from Hearts, Livi and the likes.

Singing from the Home support was poor, though better than other games this season. Hopefully The Jungle Bhoys initiatives for a singing section, Ultra type displays will start to add something to the atmosphere - it needs something badly!!

Celtic were the stronger in the first half, McGeady, Maloney and Naka in particular causing problems for Hibs. Hibs played some nice stuff in the middle of the Park, though never threatening the celtic goal. One tame back pass from Riordan is all I can recall. A typical headed goal from Hartson on 40 minutes from a lovely cross from Naka sent Celtic 1-0 in at half time.

Second half, hibs changed Riordan for Sproule and were quicker off the blocks. 2 good goals early on, put them 2-1 up. The second, was a cracker, volley from the corner of the box.

Celtic came back with a sweet Maloney freekick for the equaliser, followed by a Hartson tap in (from a shot that rebounded off the post) Hartson also hit the crossbar with a diving header (of sorts) which denied him his hatrick. Petrov was poor, Mcgeady had a great game, very industrious. Wallace had a decent game at left back (his new position) but had the majority of the 60,000 crowd leaving something smelly in their boxer shorts after a very short backpass in the dying moments of the game.

FT 3-2, very entertaining, fair result IMO.

Meanwhile Hearts dropped points against ICT and Rangers play today - Can they make it 11 games without a win :-)

Hope you enjoyed your trip over H4E - I know I did!!!!

I watched the match on C67. Nakamura, what can I say? He is absolutely quality. Hopefully the teams in bigger league's aren't sniffing around after his great world cup. Madrid agreed a €3m fee for him after they won the Champions League 3 years ago but the deal fell through. I really believe he has all the technical attributes of David Beckham but other parts of his game let him down. He was captain of Reggina before he joined Celtic and that was nothing to do with leadership abilities as he couldn't even speak Italian.

When he's at the top of his game he's a joy to watch.

A bit gutted after the match, we didn't deserve to lose. Good start to second half and stunning goal from Fletch, most boring home fans that I've ever seen. Getting held in for 15 minutes after game didn't help either. Back to winning ways next weekend at home to 'Well

Neil Lennon got MOM in the Sunday Times although his name wasn't mentioned at all in the match report. Come to think of it, I did not hear his name mentioned in the radio commentary either. He is truly 'Mr. Invisible'.
