That Duffy is 2nd worst in my opinion to Paul but both brutal , heard when he reffed cathedral and greenwood the ball hit the side netting so it went out and bounced off fence and it came back greenwood player picked up ball threw it to keeper for goal kick Duffy blew for penalty and was giving it until Robbie cun from cathedral said it wasn’t

Well well a few interesting results over the weekend.. Rathcormac trounced 5-1 today in Presidents cup semi after nearly pulling off shock of the season during the week mental, great to see games getting momentum and played now more funny results coming our way over the next few weeks one would imagine. Village having a fine year

While we’re on the subject, I think a few refs in the AUL have grudges against certain teams for whatever reason wether it be abuse or whatever, maybe some deservedly so, with Duffy I don’t see him as being biased, he seems to make terrible calls both ways, I just don’t know what game he sees sometimes, they way he speaks to players when they complain doesn’t help his reputation, think o Sullivan is a good reff but can seriously hold grudges when given lip, particularly to a few north side teams, hennessey last year I felt was a disgrace, not a personal knock on the man but he genuinely didn’t look like he was fit enough to keep up with the game, would blow for offside in games where a fella could be 5 yards inside because he didn’t want to run, Think Tony Thompson is a credit, regardless off his decisions the way he manèges players and handles backchat is to be commended, probably comes with experience, Alan Belmajoub( dodgy spelling) last year was exceptional when I seen him, be surprised if he doesn’t end up MSL premier, Alan mcdonagh is fine, Richard Gorman is fine, I think the referees manners on the pitch can make or break a game especially in competitive close games, which I think Duffy and Paul lack, truth be told we’re lucky to have any of them because it’s not a gig I personally could handle with some of the bull you have to listen to from lines, I’d be sent off myself if I was a reff

Village seem to be cup specialists, have deep runs in cups every year regardless of league form, the year they win the AOh I believe they were due to be relegated only for teams folding, from what I’ve been told Dunlea trains them like animals, it shows when they play, those lads would run for days

Credit to village but i do think the AOH draw was very kind to them. Banteer, Grangevale & Greenwood are all games they should be winning and did so fair play. The rest of the prem big hitters are the other side of the draw. I still think they should be higher up in the league after some close losses this season

Totally agree with you Ger spot on know disrespect to Village or knocka but they got away lightly with draw I know you can only beat what’s in front of you but to avoid Ucc Grattan watergrasshill and coachford on the way to semi is a major plus for both clubs still think both clubs in the mix for relegation aswel. Looking at tables think that should be their bread and butter but fair play semi anything can happen

I’d say village are safe enough, Glenthorn are 100% gone and either city or Corkbeg will be the other, I’d fancy Corkbeg to stay up if I’m being honest, I don’t know the games played off the top of my head so I might be wrong on that if city and Corkbeg have games in hand

They probably will survive Ball hope they do like a lot of them lads honest players up in village but mad at times but you need that aswel haha I think fixtures have gone strange this year View win league without playing cathedral who could of won league up to last week Grattan still have to play village twice and play Glenthorn twice who or relegated few back to back fixtures that went ahead this season that were strange View last two games or against Cathedral aswel

At the start of the season Village we're due to play Grattan at home. AUL rang Village to cancel because it would be a great title game later in the season. Crazy carry on.

Bottom of prem A..about time they started playing. As for tye injuries, thye signed enough fellas start if season to be in a better league position. They have beaten nobody in aoh cup yet and have had a kind draw.
I think they will win their divisional Cup but the league has been a flop.
Be interesting to see if they last next season

True story Joe but that PremierA is a bit drunk if you ask me knocka and strand bottom of the table and if they win there remaining game either could be promoted haha strange league that one back to tonight cant see village laying glove on Grattan if I’m being honest Village good at home away not so good but on other hand if they do take anything off grats UCC and Coachford be over the moon.

Haha that premier A is crazy in fairness.win a game or 2 and your promotion candidates.
I woulda definitely expected more from knocka in that league though
Haven't seen village since before Christmas,, was impressed by them when i saw them but id epect grattan to bounce back tonight.
Think coachford ucc playin again this week...id neary say a must win for both if grattan win tonight

Definitely expected more from knocka but can’t take anything away from Castleview deserved league so maybe better team did win that division and i think another loss for Ucc puts end to their league challenge aswel still have Grattan team to finish ahead to win the premier
