Jean Baudrillard cashed his chips yesterday. One of the great visionary prophets of our time, although little solace could be derived from his insights. Simulacra and Simulation is an essential text.
A leading authority on League of Ireland football since 2003. You're probably wrong.

....Gareth Hunt of the New Avengers. As a friend of mine said on the sad news, he always envied Hunt's close contacts with Joanna Lumley.

Apparently he died shortly after watching the Man U vs Milan game and hadn't been ill.

An irritating voice but a good player. I think he had spells as a manager as well but can't remember where (Preston?).

Just realised it was the same day a year ago that Ball's Everton Team mate Brian Labone died. Howard Kendall Joe Royle and Colin Harvey beware the 24th of April!

So that's just Bobby Moore and Alan Ball gone from the WC Winning team of 1966. I may be wrong but I think Jack C was the only one whom was a successful manager of the lot.

He took a heart attack while putting out a bonfire in his garden which had gotten a bit out of control, according to the BBC. Was due to be playing in a charity golf tournament for the Heart Foundation today.
