I heard cian blake is going to the hall as well!
think he is carrying a good bit but was a decent player few years back.
I fancy ringmahon to beat cobh at the weekend along with a draw in the ucc game.

Good win for wanderers on the road today , 2-1 v Mahon , they seem to b motoring along nicely, looks like it's between them and Corinthians to challenge dales

A good game , two poor keeper mistakes for Cobh goals .Cobh dominated first half but ringmahon missed 3 great chances in second half .and had cobh pinned back for long spells .I personally fancy cors to win the league if joe gamble stays around and they get one or two in

Silly season in full swing , Douglas Hal made a huge signing during the week signing former schoolboys international Robert Lehane from Cobh Rams after manger Stephen Henderson failed to make contact with the player , Douglas Hall have turned the corner since that awful defeat in Dublin, Rockmount face huge local derby Friday night a defeat will leave them 4 points adrift from 3rd bottom Ringmahon heading into xmas break. Ringmahon in free-fall sliding alarming down the table and losing top marksman dean Swords to cobh don't help.

If you could share this with the clubs and promote through your social media platforms it would be great.*

As part of the release of the New Coach Education Pathway we are introducing coaching courses based on the following three key areas:

1: Reality Based Learning – Where coaches can enter the pathway now at the age specific / level they are working.*

2: Competency Model, in which every course now has specific entry and exit competencies which will see the programs delivered in a more holistic approach and the move away for the ethos of final assessments.*

3: The alignment with the Player Development Plan

With this in mind the New Adult Intro (Coaches currently working in the adult game);*New Youth Intro (Coaches working within the Youth Game; New National D Licence (Replaced the old youth certificate) and the National Goalkeeping D Licence are being released for their first ever delivery in Cork in January as part of a Coach Education Festival of Football which will see the following courses taking place that weekend:

What is going on in this league, there is a massive back log in games coming and teams are allowed to call games off 24hrs in advance now.hardly a drop of rain today.went to one ground today where a game called off and under no circumstances was pitch unplayable today.

  15. Thanks From:

Worked in Cork on nights on a project for a few weeks so got to see a few MSL games. Always heard that the MSL teams were great but saw Rockmount and St Mary's recently and wasn't a bit impressed. Heard afterwards in work that both teams are in the drop zone. What went wrong and are there any new young players around to get people out to watch local soccer?

It runs in cycles like everything.
Rockmount, Marys and Avondale are all in the bottom 4 but there is a massive fixture backlog.
Cobh Wanderers and College Corinthians are the top 2 and both in the semis of the Intermediate Cup.

UCC beat Rockmount 3-2 on Monday and Mount host Marys this Friday.

Cobh Wanderers host Avondale and Mayfield host UCC on Saturday.

The Douglas Derby then on Sunday morning as Corinthians host Douglas Hall.
Ringmahon and Castleview also on Sunday morning, say a prayer for the pitches.

Cobh Wanderers 0 Avondale 2. Bit of a surprise result given their respective league standings.

Got a walkover this morning off castleview at late notice. This does not look good for the league. Especially in senior prem football. For a club like castleview its not good either given all the history

He helped Avondale win the league in the last few weeks of last season. Then went to Italy with the Irish Amateurs and kept 3 clean sheets and qualified for the Regions Cup finals this year. He was player of the tournament and helped Munster win the Michael Ward trophy and also travelled to Oman with the defence forces team and played and captained them in the Military World Cup... What more could he have done? Ran for President????
